What is STEM Education

Ministry of Education Malaysia launched Science Technology Engineering Mathematics (STEM) education initiative in Malaysia Education Blueprint 2013 – 2025. The aim of STEM education initiative is to prepare students with the skill to meet the science and technology challenges and to ensure Malaysia has sufficient number of qualified STEM graduates

STEM education has the approach of educating students in four specific disciplines; science, technology, engineering and mathematics in an interdisciplinary and applied approach based on real-world applications. STEM integrates them into a cohesive learning paradigm rather than teaching the four disciplines as separate and discrete subjects like in a school classroom.

We didn't give them a toy, but we gave them parts and pieces. 😉

Learn to understand instruction manuals (which we adults tend to just throw away), patiently follow the instructions, build, test, improve and finally have fun.

DIY wind powered car. Understand the basis of Newton's 3rd Law.

Code programmable toy project - Robo Sloth. Program your robo sloth to swing on the rope. 😊

Hope you all had great fun leraning physics and coding.

Seringkali kami dengar keluh kesah ibubapa tentang anak zaman skrg katanya yg asyik melekat dgn smartphone atau tablet...

Bagi kami di STEM in Me, kita aplikasikan teknologi untuk kebaikkan. Dengan itu modul robotik yg baru kami lancarkan menggabungkan penggunaan smartphone dan robotik coding. Serampang dua mata utk menarik minat anak kepada STEM Robotik.

Bukan sahaja anak2 belajar ilmu coding bahkan dapat diajar potensi sebenar smartphone yg mereka selalu gunakan itu bukanlah hanya utk IG atau FB atau PUBG atau COD etc ya... "dakwah coding" InsyaAllah.

Throwback : Our latest Rookie robotic class, The Singing Dodo. Kids learnt to build dodo bird robot (our new code programmable toy), develop the software with fun graphical coding and finally test it. Great experience, great fun. Alhamdulillah.

💜 JUNIOR: Level 2 - Pembelajaran berkaitan konsep litar elektronik melalui cara bercerita dan memainkan peranan(role play) serta memahami bagaimana peralatan berfungsi dengan menyatakan sebab dan impak.

💚 ROOKIE: Level 1 & 2 - Dengan alat permainan pembelajaran yang berupaya diprogramkan (Code Programmable Toy, CPT ) serta variasi sensor input dan output, pembelajaran pengekodan perisian akan menjadi lebih seronok.

💙 ROOKIE: Level 1 & 3 - Pengenalan kepada litar elektronik dan pelbagai sensor input dan output. Pembelajaran berkaitan asas pengkodan menggunakan pengaturcaraan grafik.

🧡 ROOKIE: Level 3 - Pembelajaran berkenaan aplikasi pelbagai jenis sensor input dan output dalam projek yang lebih mencabar.

❤ ADVANCE: Level 2 - Pembinaan aplikasi pelbagai jenis sensor input dan output. Berlajar cara pengujian dan penalaan prototaip di dalam suasana pertandingan yang mencabar.
